The challenge with this shipment is that these bulldozers do not have ordinary wheels but special pins with which the bulldozer compresses the trash pulp while driving.
This means, that these bulldozers cannot travel independently, but must be transported from one place to another. Our work begins by placing the bulldozers on a special wooden base that protects the special structure of the pins in the wheels. A crane then lifts up the bulldozers and loads them onto a truck that takes them from the factory in Germany to the port of Antwerp. At the port, a crane transfers the bulldozers to the ship, places them exactly in its proper place on the ship, where they are stored and transported to Israel. In Israel, once again a crane is required to unload the bulldozers from the ship and load onto a trailer, which takes them to their place of work – the landfill. Only then can the bulldozers be released for the trip on the trash.
The maintenance of these bulldozers is massive; therefore, once in a while we again move bulldozers to just to “refresh the energy.”

Usually motorcycles are shipped from abroad to Israel, but once a year, we transport them from Israel to Europe. We transport privately owned motorcycles that belong to a group of riders, who once a year take motorcycle trips all over Europe.
Each biker brings his motorcycle to a warehouse at the port. There the bikes are carefully affixed into a container so that they do not get damaged on the way. A crane lifts and places the container onto the ship, which transports the motorcycles to the destination port in Europe. At the destination port we handle the unloading of the container. Simultaneously, the bikers arrive on a flight to Europe to the destination port, where they pick up their motorcycles and go on their trip. Of course, at the end of the trip, we handle the return trip. The riders bring their motorcycles to the port where with care and attention they are placed and affixed in the container and sent back to Israel. There they unloaded from the container and handed back to the riders until next year

We transported all the equipment necessary for the building of the gas depot, from El Arish to the Eilat-Ashdod Pipeline Depot in Ashkelon.
One of the main challenges was the correct custom designation for the various components of the shipment. We had to classify each component separately and to obtain the appropriate authorizations and permits for its definition: pipes, columns, valves, along with certificates from the Institute of Standards, etc.
In order to complete the work on schedule as the customer expected, we asked the Customs Department to approve a group classification for this huge shipment as “equipment for a gas depot.” Thanks to our expertise in classification and our good standing relationship with customs officials, we passed this process efficiently and quickly.
The transport consisted of transporting a massive quantity of oversized and very heavy equipment, which comprised hundreds of containers.
Despite all the complexities of international shipping and its transport, thanks to our good relationship with customs, we met the customer’s expectations for a quick release, unloading and quick and punctual transportation to the construction site to the satisfaction of the customer.

Several years ago, a historical film about Marco Polo was filmed in Israel.
The scenery, accessories and costumes were prepared in Italy: special costumes, a lot of weapons including 2-meter spears, shields and many other items which included a large quantity of very delicate accessories.
The production team debated how and when to transport the scenery and costumes to Israel. They wanted the relevant equipment to arrive gradually, according to the need of each stage of the production. They deliberated and procrastinated until the last minute, that the filming was about to begin, but the scenery, accessories, and costumes were still in Italy.
When it is necessary to get a shipment quickly and urgently, air transport is the preferred mode. In this case there was no choice and it had to be dealt with immediately and quickly. A manager of the MultiTrans team personally travelled to Italy, arrived at the outskirts of Rome where the company that supplied the scenery was located. He personally oversaw the packaging of the scenery, the accessories and costumes and the loading onto trucks. The trucks took the equipment to the airport where they were loaded onto a plane directly to Israel. Thanks to MultiTrans’ personal escort and the quick move, we managed to bring the equipment on time for the start of the filming, to the delight of the production team of the film.

Most people do not know this, but the export of matzo from Israel to the overseas communities in the world ahead of Passover, begins in December. This in order to ensure that the matzot arrive well in advance of the holiday. One yea,r 10 days before Passover, we received an emotional plea to urgently export matzos to the Jewish community in Paris, due to a shortage of matzo. This because the winter was a very harsh and cold one in Europe and was accompanied by heavy snows.
We checked a number of routes, checked with several shipping companies for possible timetables for shipping to different ports. We examined the possibility of sending the shipment to the port of Marseilles, then by truck to Paris, but it seemed that the shipment would arrive too late for the Seder. Finally we found an original solution. We sent the matzos to the Port of Koper in Slovenia, from where the matzot arrived in Paris in three days, and from there they continued by truck for two days to Paris. Thus the Matzot arrived safely to the Jews of Paris two days before the Seder, and we were happy that we had succeeded in helping them celebrate a kosher and happy Passover

UNRWA is a UN organization that provides, among other things, equipment for refugees. This equipment includes a large variety of goods, including a various medicines, blankets, children’s bags, etc.
